Vasanti dasi
Vasanti dasi was initiated by Srila Bhaktivedanta Narayana Gosvami Maharaja in May, 2000. Since then, she has dedicated her life to full-time devotional service and the practice of bhakti-yoga. Assisting her mentor, Srimati Syamarani (Jadurani dasi), as a personal assistant and secretary, Vasanti is also part of Gaudiya Vedanta Publications, serving the production and distribution of Srila Narayana Maharaja’s books. In 2008 she founded the International Pure Yoga Society Prison Outreach program, sharing bhakti-yoga with thousands of inmates nationwide. Under the guidance of her spiritual master, she continues to assist Syamarani didi in all her various projects, recently opening a beautiful bhakti-yoga center and bhakti art gallery in Miami.
Manjari dasi
Manjari dasi is a speaker, singer, artist, and an ambassador for sacred music known as kirtan. She aspires to offer people an experience of deep connection and transformation of consciousness through transcendental sound vibration. A dedicated brahmacharini and disciple of Srila Bhaktivedanta Narayana Gosvami Maharaja, she divides her time between India and North America, presenting the beautiful teachings, art, and culture of bhakti-yoga and Sanatana Dharma with everyone she meets. Joining forces with fellow visionaries, she established the Rupa-Sanatana Gaudiya Foundation to nourish spiritual communities, promote education and publishing, and to support women in bhakti.
Anuradha dasi
Anuradha dasi (aka Asha) was born and raised in the Gaudiya Bhakti Yoga tradition in a kirtan-focused family. As a small girl, she gravitated towards percussion, specifically of the mridanga, a clay drum hailing from West Bengal, India, which is used in traditional Gaudiya kirtan. She hopes more women will learn the art of mridanga playing, as it fosters a combination of both grace and strength. When Anuradha is not performing her kirtan seva, she works as a doctor of physical therapy, sharing with her patients and clients about holistic health and wellness.
